University of Leeds Enterprise and Entrepreneurship MSc develops enterprise skills and gives students insight into creating economic and social value through entrepreneurial activity.

For UCO Business users, this programme is most relevant to the Entrepreneurship pathway, with links to Entrepreneurship, Venture Creation, Start-up Management, Innovation and Social Enterprise.

The programme is suitable for students who aspire to start their own business or social enterprise, develop an existing family firm, or pursue careers in consultancy, corporate venturing or business development.

Applicants need a bachelor degree with a 2:1 honours classification in any subject.

Leeds University Business School states that a background in business or management is desirable, but applicants from other disciplines are welcomed.

The University’s programme catalogue also states that work experience is desirable but not essential.

IELTS requirement: 6.5 overall, with no less than 6.0 in any component.

TOEFL iBT requirement for master’s study: 88 overall, with at least 20 in Reading, 19 in Listening, 22 in Speaking and 21 in Writing for tests taken before 21 January 2026.

TOEFL requirement for tests taken on or after 21 January 2026: 4.5 overall, with at least 4 in Reading, Listening and Speaking and 4.5 in Writing.

PTE Academic requirement: 64 overall, with no less than 60 in each component.
