Overview
University of Edinburgh LLM in Law is a flexible postgraduate law programme that allows students to choose from a wide range of masters-level courses offered by Edinburgh Law School.
For UCO Business users, this programme is most relevant to the Law pathway, with links to International Law, Commercial Law, Corporate Law, Human Rights Law and Technology Law.
The programme is suitable for students who want a broad LLM rather than a single-specialism law degree.
Entry requirements
Applicants need a minimum 2:1 honours degree from a UK university, or international equivalent, in Law.
The University may also consider a UK 2:1 honours degree, or international equivalent, in a social science subject, but a solid foundation in law evidenced through prior study or substantial work experience is essential.
Relevant work experience is not required, but may increase the applicant’s chances of acceptance.
Relevant professional qualifications will be considered.
Preference may be given to applicants with grades above the minimum requirements because entry is competitive.
