Overview

The Oxford MBA is a one-year, full-time Master of Business Administration programme delivered by Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford. It is designed for students and professionals seeking graduate-level business education with a focus on management, leadership, global business, entrepreneurship, finance, strategy, and career development.

The programme is relevant for UCO Business users interested in MBA, Management, Finance, Entrepreneurship, Consulting & Project Management, and Business Analytics pathways. Students should review the official programme page, curriculum, admissions guidance, fees, scholarships, and English-language requirements before applying.

The Oxford MBA is taught at Saïd Business School. Applicants should also understand Oxford’s wider graduate admissions process, including application deadlines, college membership, supporting documents, fees, and funding options.

Entry requirements

Applicants must have completed a recognised undergraduate degree and upload all university degree academic transcripts or mark sheets. The application also requires at least two years of full-time work experience, shown on a one-page CV, with evidence of career progression, international exposure, and leadership potential.

Applicants must submit either a GMAT or GRE score. Saïd Business School says GMAT scores of 595 or above in the current version, or 650 in the previous GMAT version, are considered competitive. For GRE, 160 verbal and 160 quantitative are considered competitive, although all scores are accepted.

The application also requires a supporting statement, an online Kira Talent assessment, two professional or academic references, a completed online application form, and the application fee.

English requirements

Applicants from non-majority English-speaking countries must provide English-language evidence unless a waiver applies.

Accepted tests include TOEFL, IELTS Academic, Cambridge C1 Advanced, and Cambridge C2 Proficiency.

Minimum TOEFL score: 110 overall, with Listening 22, Reading 24, Writing 24, and Speaking 25.

Minimum IELTS Academic score: 7.5 overall, with at least 7.0 in each component. IELTS General Training and IELTS Online are not accepted.

Minimum Cambridge C1 Advanced score: 191 overall, with at least 185 in each component.

Minimum Cambridge C2 Proficiency score: 191 overall, with at least 185 in each component.

A waiver may be possible for a recognised full-time degree of at least nine months taught and assessed entirely in English, completed within two years of the programme start date, or for substantial professional experience in a majority English-speaking country.
