Overview

The London Business School MBA is a full-time Master of Business Administration programme with flexible exit points at 15, 18, or 21 months. It is designed for professionals seeking international management education with access to London’s finance, consulting, technology, entrepreneurship, and global business environment.

For UCO Business users, this programme is most relevant to the MBA pathway, with strong connections to Management, Finance, Consulting & Project Management, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, and Business Analytics. It may suit students looking for a flexible full-time MBA in a major global business centre.

Students should review the official London Business School MBA pages before applying, including admissions requirements, application rounds, tuition fees, scholarships, financing, student association fees, visa guidance, and programme content.

Entry requirements

Applicants must complete the online application form and submit the required MBA essays. The essay questions include post-MBA goals, how prior experience and the London Business School programme will contribute to those goals, what makes the applicant unique, and an optional additional information essay.

Applicants must upload a one-page CV and explain significant employment gaps separately where relevant.

Applicants must provide the name and details of a referee, usually a current employer, colleague, former employer, long-standing client, or someone who knows the applicant well in a work context.

Applicants must have a valid GMAT or GRE score before submitting the application. Scores must be less than five years old. LBS states that the average GMAT score for the MBA class is around 645, with a typical class range from 555 to 805, and the minimum score normally accepted is around 555. For GRE, LBS prefers scores over 160 in both verbal and quantitative sections.

Applicants must pay the £200 MBA application fee and provide university transcripts from each university attended. If transcripts are not in English, certified English translations are required.

English requirements

Unless the applicant’s first language is English and they have always been a citizen of and primarily resident in a majority English-speaking country as defined by UKVI, they must submit an IELTS, TOEFL, Cambridge CPE, Cambridge CAE, PTE Academic, or Duolingo English Test score.

London Business School states that other English tests are not accepted. The TOEFL institution code is 0898.

The Admissions Committee may waive the English-language test requirement at its discretion.
