Harvard Business School MBA

The Harvard Business School MBA is a full-time, two-year Master of Business Administration programme in Boston, Massachusetts. It is designed for candidates seeking graduate business education focused on leadership, general management, decision-making, entrepreneurship, finance, strategy and global business.

For UCO Business users, this programme is most relevant to the MBA pathway, with strong connections to Management, Entrepreneurship, Finance, Marketing, Consulting & Project Management and Business Analytics.

Applicants should use the official HBS MBA Class of 2029 deadlines for fall 2027 matriculation and submit all application materials by the relevant deadline.

International applicants are required to hold a college or university degree equivalent to a four-year American baccalaureate degree. Harvard Business School states that equivalent degrees include international three-year bachelor degree programmes.

Applicants must list all post-secondary educational institutions attended and degrees received. Transcripts must be submitted online and in English. If records are not issued in English, course names must be translated into English for the initial application. If admitted, official original-language transcripts and official word-for-word English translations may be required through World Education Services.

The written application includes transcripts, GRE or GMAT, English language test where required, essays, recommendations, resume, application fee or fee waiver, acceptance of policies and the completed application. Selected applicants are invited to interview.

A TOEFL, IELTS, Pearson Test of English or Duolingo English Test is required if the applicant did not attend an undergraduate institution where the sole language of instruction is English.

If the applicant completed a graduate degree taught in English, Harvard Business School recommends submitting one of these tests, but it is not required.

HBS does not have a minimum test score requirement to apply. However, the MBA Admissions Board discourages candidates from applying with a TOEFL score below 5 on the new 1-6 scale or 109 on the traditional 0-120 scale, an IELTS score below 7.5, a PTE score below 75 or a Duolingo English Test score below 145.
