Walmart Summer 2027 Intern:: Data Science III is a Business Analytics-relevant internship within Walmart Global Tech.

The role focuses on data strategy, analytical modelling, exploratory data analysis, model assessment, data visualisation and business recommendations.

For UCO Business users, this job is most relevant to the Business Analytics pathway because it applies data science, statistical analysis, business context and analytics tools to solve practical business problems.

Support data strategy by applying data-enabled insights to business decisions.

Conduct exploratory data analysis, statistical analysis, hypothesis testing and statistical inference.

Select analytical modelling techniques for structured and complex data.

Perform trend analysis and cluster analysis to answer business problems.

Generate visual representations of data and model outcomes.

Support business cases, recommendations, process updates and implementation of business solutions.

Must be enrolled in a master’s degree programme currently.

Expected graduation date between December 2027 and August 2028.

Zero to one year of relevant full-time experience, excluding internship and research-based roles.

Interest in data science, analytics, machine learning, statistics, data visualisation and business problem solving.
