Role description
Walmart Summer 2027 Corporate Intern: Global IT Audit is an internship in Walmart Corporate Global Audit.
The role gives interns exposure to software engineering, data and analytics, AI, cybersecurity, cloud platforms, technology operations and Global Technology Audit.

Responsibilities
Work on challenging and innovative projects that support Walmart Global Audit.
Collaborate with technology professionals across software engineering, data and analytics, AI, cybersecurity, cloud platforms and technology operations.
Gain exposure to Global Technology Audit and business risk assessment.
Apply data analysis and technology knowledge to audit and assurance work.
Participate in internship learning, networking, speaker sessions and mentorship opportunities.
Requirements
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT Engineering, Data Science or a closely related technical field.
Expected graduation between December 2027 and June 2028.
Strong proficiency in Python.
Experience with Pandas and NumPy.
Understanding of software development lifecycle principles and best practices.
Experience or coursework in data analysis, data modelling and relational databases such as SQL.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Must not require Walmart sponsorship for work authorisation now or in the future.
