Senior Manager, People

The Senior Manager, People acts as a strategic HR partner supporting Walmart Connect and its business leadership. The role designs and executes people strategies that support organisational growth, including workforce planning, talent development, succession planning, organisational design and leadership coaching. It uses workforce and business data to identify risks, improve organisational effectiveness and guide change initiatives while helping leaders build high-performing teams and maintain strong compliance and employee-engagement practices.

Partner with senior leaders to develop and execute talent strategies.

Lead organisational design and workforce-planning initiatives.

Manage talent reviews and succession-planning processes.

Develop leadership and high-potential employee initiatives.

Support organisational change programmes.

Analyse workforce and business data to inform decisions.

Identify people-related risks and improvement opportunities.

Provide leadership coaching and HR guidance.

Ensure compliance with employment policies and regulations.

Support employee engagement and organisational effectiveness.

Drive continuous improvement across people processes.

Demonstrated human-resource management experience.

Experience leading organisational-change initiatives.

Strong workforce and people-data analysis capability.

Experience in employee engagement and team development.

Strong coaching and mentoring capability.

Knowledge of employment compliance and HR policy requirements.

Ability to develop and communicate people strategies aligned with business objectives.

PHR or SPHR certification is preferred.

Project-management certification or project-management experience is preferred.

Supervisory experience is preferred.
