The Project Manager II, Implementation And Sustainment - Supply Chain leads strategic Central Operations projects that improve operational efficiency, support business transformation and deliver measurable improvements across Walmart's supply-chain organisation. The role manages large projects or several medium-sized initiatives from planning through implementation, covering scope definition, requirements gathering, resource planning, budgets, timelines and risk management. It also uses data analysis, process improvement and reporting automation to identify operational gaps, develop sustainable solutions and provide leadership with clearer visibility into programme performance.

Lead large-scale projects or multiple medium-sized initiatives from planning through execution.

Define scope, objectives, timelines, risks, assumptions and success measures.

Develop project plans, resource allocations, budgets and schedules.

Gather business requirements and develop implementation strategies.

Monitor project progress and manage changes.

Analyse operational performance and identify improvement opportunities.

Conduct root-cause analysis and develop sustainable solutions.

Build and automate dashboards, reports and analytical tools.

Communicate project metrics and recommendations to leadership.

Develop tools for feedback collection, performance tracking and gap analysis.

Build strong partnerships with cross-functional stakeholders.

Support adoption of new technology and continuous-improvement practices.

Bachelor's degree in Arts, Sciences, Business or a related field plus at least 2 years of experience in project management, operations management or a related field; alternatively, at least 4 years of relevant experience.

Experience leading complex projects or cross-functional initiatives.

Strong project-management and organisational capability.

Strong stakeholder-management skills.

Ability to analyse data and turn findings into actionable recommendations.

Experience developing tools, dashboards, reports or process-improvement solutions.

Strong problem-solving and root-cause-analysis skills.

Experience developing reporting, database or feedback tools is preferred.

Experience leading cross-functional teams is preferred.

SQL, report automation or Excel macro experience is preferred.
