Program Manager, Integrated Planning, GEMS, NA Startup

The Program Manager, Integrated Planning within Amazon's GEMS North America Startup team helps build and mature the planning systems used to deliver new infrastructure, expansion and retrofit projects. The position operates in a rapidly scaling environment where processes are still developing, requiring entrepreneurial thinking, comfort with ambiguity and an ability to create repeatable planning frameworks. The manager coordinates cross-functional workstreams, oversees contracted project planners and develops unified schedules that help new projects move efficiently from concept to execution.

Develop integrated planning approaches for new-build and expansion projects.

Connect multiple cross-functional workstreams into unified execution schedules.

Support the strategic development of the integrated-planning programme.

Improve planning standards and operating frameworks.

Oversee contracted project planners and maintain delivery quality.

Coordinate dependencies between engineering, construction, operations and programme teams.

Develop scalable planning mechanisms for a growing infrastructure portfolio.

Identify schedule risks and areas requiring intervention.

Drive consistency across project-planning processes.

Support continuous improvement as the startup programme matures.

Programme or project-management experience relevant to large-scale operational programmes.

Strong experience coordinating cross-functional workstreams.

Ability to build and improve planning processes in rapidly scaling environments.

Strong stakeholder-management and communication skills.

Comfort working in ambiguous environments where systems and processes are still maturing.

Experience overseeing project planners or planning resources is advantageous.

Strong analytical and scheduling capability.
