Data Analyst Intern - Summer 2027

McKesson Data Analyst Intern - Summer 2027 is a 10-week paid internship based in Columbus, Ohio.

The role supports business operations through data analysis, strategic insights, reporting, dashboards and stakeholder collaboration.

For UCO Business users, this job is most relevant to the Business Analytics pathway because it applies data analysis, reporting, visualisation and business requirements gathering to healthcare business operations.

Analyse and interpret data from multiple sources to support business decisions.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and understand business needs.

Develop, maintain and present reports, dashboards and visualisations.

Support project management tasks, including documentation and progress tracking.

Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform business strategies.

Assist with implementation of business plans and strategies.

Help maintain and improve data management systems.

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Data Science or a related field.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong attention to detail.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Familiarity with data analysis tools such as SQL, Tableau or Power BI is a plus.

Strong organisational and time-management skills.

Must be proficient in spoken and written English.
