Role description
This Manager, Project Management role leads business initiatives and multiple medium-scale projects by developing structured project plans, schedules, stakeholder communications and implementation processes. The manager works closely with project sponsors and cross-functional teams to define requirements, assess costs, evaluate return on investment and secure resources. The position combines project delivery, stakeholder management, budget monitoring and people leadership, with responsibility for maintaining project-management standards and adapting programmes when priorities, milestones or business requirements change.
Responsibilities
Develop and communicate project plans and schedules.
Manage multiple medium-scale projects and workstreams.
Build and maintain relationships with project sponsors and stakeholders.
Clarify programme requirements and required documentation.
Assess costs and support return-on-investment evaluations.
Secure management approval for required resources.
Develop communication plans for project status and stakeholder updates.
Monitor budgets, milestones and transitions between project phases.
Identify project changes and escalate issues when necessary.
Supervise, coach and develop associates.
Promote continuous improvement and adoption of modern digital tools.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science or a related field plus at least 2 years of project-management, business, operations or related experience; alternatively, at least 4 years of relevant experience.
At least 1 year of experience working within cross-functional teams.
Strong understanding of project planning, schedules and project-management standards.
Experience coordinating stakeholders and project sponsors.
Ability to manage multiple projects or workstreams simultaneously.
Data analytics and project-management systems experience is preferred.
Supervisory experience is preferred.
A master's degree in Business is preferred.
PMP certification is preferred.
Six Sigma Green Belt certification is preferred.
