Manager, Project Management - Elevator Manager

The Manager, Project Management - Elevator Manager leads multiple medium-scale projects supporting elevator and escalator systems across Walmart stores and Sam's Club locations. The role combines technical project delivery with stakeholder management, financial evaluation, equipment strategy and continuous improvement. The manager coordinates maintenance companies, internal business teams and project sponsors while overseeing schedules, budgets, costs and resource allocation. The position also acts as a subject-matter resource for elevator and escalator operations and contributes to reliable equipment performance, regulatory compliance and asset lifecycle management across a large retail property portfolio.

Lead multiple medium-scale projects supporting elevator and escalator operations.

Develop detailed project plans, schedules and communication plans.

Coordinate with maintenance companies, project sponsors and internal stakeholders.

Assess project costs and return on investment.

Support management decisions regarding resource allocation.

Monitor budgets, costs, milestones and project changes.

Identify and escalate project risks or delivery issues.

Support asset lifecycle, maintenance and equipment strategy initiatives.

Act as a subject-matter expert for elevator and escalator operations.

Mentor and develop team members.

Drive continuous improvement and operational accountability.

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science or a related field plus at least 2 years of experience in project management, business, operations or a related area; alternatively, at least 4 years of relevant experience.

At least 1 year of experience working in cross-functional teams.

Knowledge of elevator and escalator maintenance and regulatory compliance is important for this position.

Experience managing multiple medium-scale projects or workstreams.

Strong project-planning, scheduling and budget-management capability.

Strong stakeholder-management and communication skills.

Experience identifying project risks, issues and changes.

Data analytics and project-management systems experience is preferred.

Supervisory experience is preferred.

A master's degree in Business is preferred.

PMP certification is preferred.

Six Sigma Green Belt certification is preferred.
