Manager, Project Management - Digital Enablement

The Manager, Project Management - Digital Enablement manages a portfolio of Walmart General Merchandise Asset projects from early discovery through testing, deployment and ongoing support. The position coordinates business, technical, procurement and vendor stakeholders to translate operational requirements into structured project plans, schedules and deliverables. The manager oversees project risks, budgets, dependencies and resource requirements while helping the organisation introduce connected technologies such as IoT, sensors and system integrations into physical asset operations. The role also contributes to process improvement, project governance and the development of scalable approaches that support more predictive, efficient and data-driven facility operations.

Manage multiple medium-scale projects or project workstreams from discovery through deployment and support.

Develop and communicate detailed project plans, schedules and stakeholder communication strategies.

Coordinate business, technical, procurement and vendor teams.

Translate business requirements into clear project objectives and deliverables.

Monitor budgets, resources, risks, dependencies and project milestones.

Identify and resolve project issues while minimising disruption to schedules and deliverables.

Support projects involving IoT, sensors, integrations and connected asset technologies.

Maintain alignment between project sponsors, stakeholders and delivery teams.

Improve project-management processes and challenge inefficient existing approaches.

Mentor team members and encourage accountability and continuous improvement.

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science or a related field plus at least 2 years of experience in project management, business, operations or a related area; alternatively, at least 4 years of relevant experience.

At least 1 year of experience working in cross-functional teams.

Experience managing multiple medium-scale projects or project workstreams.

Strong project-planning, schedule-management and stakeholder-management skills.

Experience managing scope, procurement, budgets and project dependencies.

Ability to communicate effectively across business and technical teams.

Data analytics and project-management system experience is preferred.

Supervisory experience is preferred.

A master's degree in Business is preferred.

PMP certification is preferred.

Six Sigma Green Belt certification is preferred.
