Human Resource Manager (Grocery - Full & MDC)

The Human Resource Manager leads day-to-day HR operations within a Walmart logistics facility while supporting broader business and workforce objectives. The role oversees employee relations, recruiting, staffing, payroll-related processes, benefits administration, training, compliance and associate development. It also works closely with operational leaders to support facility goals, resolve workforce concerns and ensure HR policies and employment requirements are applied consistently. The position combines people leadership with practical HR operations and is particularly relevant for professionals interested in HR generalist, talent management and employee-relations careers.

Oversee day-to-day human resources functions including hiring, transfers, terminations, payroll and benefits-related processes.

Lead recruiting and staffing initiatives.

Support associate relations programmes and resolve employment-related concerns.

Supervise, coach and develop associates and leaders.

Identify training and professional-development requirements.

Monitor completion of required training programmes.

Ensure HR policies and procedures comply with company standards and applicable regulations.

Maintain accurate and confidential HR documentation.

Analyse workforce information and support HR business decisions.

Support facility leadership in implementing workforce and operational plans.

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Financial Management or a related field plus at least 2 years of HR generalist experience and at least 1 year of supervisory experience; or an equivalent combination of Walmart HR management experience and relevant workforce-management experience.

Experience with staffing, payroll, benefits, workers compensation or employee relations.

Experience supervising, mentoring and developing employees.

Ability to manage workload and participate in hiring and promotion decisions.

Knowledge of organisational planning and training programmes.

PHR or SPHR certification is preferred.

Experience in compensation, payroll, workforce issues and benefits administration is preferred.
